COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Students will learn the safety requirements for safely setting up and operating mobile cranes, including use of load charts. Upon completion students will have the knowledge and materials to set up an in-house crane safety training program.

Topics Include :

• Types of cranes
• Site set up and pre-task inspection (JHA's)
• Load charts
• Crane operations
• Basic rigging.
