The United States government and OSHA have collaborated to offer training to workers for occupational safety, as guided by OSHA 29 CFR 1926 through Outreach Training Program courses. Moreover, additional training may also be required if mandated by OSHA or the state where you’re working. When the course has been completed successfully, the participants will be rewarded with the OSHA course completion certificate within the duration of 3-8 weeks.
The OSHA recommended 10-hour construction safety training course is an endeavor to provide basic format for safety and working standards to new workers. This course will prove to be beneficial for the workplace safety of construction workers from every sector.
After the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- State OSHA Act’s purpose and OSHA’s functions
- Understand inspections and list all the mandates for OSHA inspection.
- Know rudimentary requirements for proper passageway and aisle maintenance.
- Protect themselves against floor opening.
- Understand and appreciate the importance of the programs for fire safety egress.
Workers need to successfully complete the OSHA ten hour Construction Industry Safety Training course within 6 months of enrollment, failing which, they would not receive the course completion certificate.
A minimum score of 70 is required in all the module quizzes to be allowed to proceed with the program. The workers should get a score of seventy or more in the final examination too so as to receive a temporary certificate that is printable, signifying the successful completion of the 10 hour construction safety program.
